Help for Teeth Grinding

Teeth Grinding Help

Teeth grinding (or bruxism) usually happens when you are asleep and so you are unaware of it. In fact you probably had no idea you were teeth grinding until your dentist told you about it. Someone you sleep beside may also have known about it before you did.

You may be surprised to know that teeth grinding is remarkably common. It is very detrimental to the teeth and can also cause jaw pain, headaches and earache. Some people are able to manage it with teeth guards but this is not always successful or convenient.

It is difficult to stop teeth grinding because you are unaware of doing it. This is where Hypnotherapy comes in. The subconscious mind is alert to suggestions given under hypnosis. Therefore the problem of teeth grinding can be addressed; you may be amazed by the results. If you would like to look into this further, please email me atalicia@aliciasmithconsultancy.co.uk or have a look at the NHS information.
