Hypnotherapy is at last beginning to receive the recognition it deserves, having for a long time been very under-rated. Hypnotherapy can reach those hard to shift problems – and, of course, the not so hard to shift! It can be very effective for all types of anxiety and stress.

General Anxiety, Panic, Health Anxiety, Phobias, Trauma, Intrusive Thoughts and other less specific problems, all respond well to Hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy is not only a very effective form of Psychotherapy but it shortens treatment time so that you will recover more quickly.

Of course anxious people can be anxious about Hypnosis! In fact there is nothing to worry about. I have been using Hypnotherapy with my clients for over 20 years and can assure you that it is perfectly safe. Hypnotherapists are professionally trained. You are in control so you can come out of the hypnosis any time you want to.

Hypnosis is a natural and pleasant, daydream-like state. It soothes anxiety and stress and builds calmness and confidence. This is very useful in itself but Hypnotherapy can also be used to explore and treat deeper problems, whether you feel that your problems arise from a particular event or have no idea why you feel the way you do.

Hypnotherapy is often used along with CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) or other talking therapies according to what is best suited to your individual needs.
